OPEN ACCESS FACILITY 

In addition to training and support at your site or ours, we operate an ‘Open Access Development Facility where you can come and use our systems and get complete supported access our expertise for your own projects.

If complete privacy is needed we can even rent some of our smaller equipment out to you or train you to use the systems alone in our facility.

INKJET:

We have a very wide range of inkjet equipment including:

• Dimatix DMP 2831 (2 systems)
• PixDro – LP50 – with multiple head modules
• PEL iTi MDS 300 our bespoke material deposition system  (large format)
• Mimaki UFJ 3042 UV colour printers
• Thallosjet large format Thermal Inkjet platform
• Drop watcher and waveform tuning system
• Reel to reel print platform for inkjet
• We also have an extensive range of bespoke parts and consumables.

You are welcome to use the equipment in our facility but one of our DMP systems is available for external loan in the UK if you prefer.

We also have our own multi-axis 3D additive print system (3DSP) for interconnects on complex surfaces working with a deposition head for digital deposition of viscous fluids and pastes

SCREEN PRINT:

We have our Microtec 550 and larger format MPM fine line screen printer in a clean HEPA chamber. We can screen print features down to 30 microns.

We image our screens onsite and can get screens made in 24 hours.

Surface Treatment and Curing

We have a wide range of ovens and furnaces as well as essential equipment for the creation of functional printed features. These include:

• Corona surface treater – Tantec
• UV curing systems including:
  For DMP: PEL’s 365 and 395nm LED UV cure system
  For MDS: Phoseon 395nm system
• Fibrodat contact angle measurement system
• IR Laser: 60W (profiling and cure)
• Adphos NIR (near infrared) cure system

We have extensive systems for creating and characterising inks. We have a small CNC pick and place machine, and a manual pick and place machine.
